Lucky Dog Debuts at Re-Opened & Re-Paved Rockingham Speedway June 29-30

Lucky Dog is the first of the amateur endurance series to return to the newly re-opened Rockingham Speedway & Entertainment Complex, The Rock, on June 29-30, 2024 for “Release the Rock Hounds,” sponsored by Lifeline USA. As a former NASCAR track, the newly paved oval and interior recourse, the 1.5 mile Roval, boasts 10 turns, 25-22 degree banking on turns and 8 degree banking on straight-aways! Join us Saturday night for live music, catered BBQ dinner party & over $10,000 in prizes! This event is Race 3 of 4 of the Southern Endurance Cup, see below. JUST ANNOUNCED: We’re pleased to announce that Country & Rock recording artist Erik Hawks & the Hard Luck Band will be playing at our Saturday night BBQ party June 29, 2024. Erik is a Rockingham native and was just named 2024 Carolina Country Music Awards Male Performer of the Year. Hawks’ major musical influences range from country artists like Garth Brooks and Vince Gill to rock bands like the Eagles and Foo Fighters.

Format: 7+8 Hour Enduro (Saturday includes 40-minute practice/qualifying session)
Car Entry (includes Captain): EARLY DOG DISCOUNT $400 USD plus $400 per add'l driver. Event requires minimum four (4) driver entry fees (or $1600 entry fee with no less than 2 drivers). Early dog discount ends May 29, 2024; then regular fee $450 per driver.

Lucky Dog Racing League is pleased to announce the 4th annual Southern Endurance Cup as the racing league continues to expand its North American footprint. This four-event points championship includes two events at Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP); Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP), and the newly added Rockingham Speedway & Entertainment Complex. The SEC Points Structure allows any class of car to be an overall winner! The SEC Points Structure is outlined in detail at the back of this document. Teams are not required to participate in all four events and may race at single events, but those teams that participate in all four races (with the same car + two original drivers) will be in contention for the Southern Endurance Cup championship.
