November 14-15, 2026 **NEW DATE so folks can attend F1 Las Vegas!** "1000 Miles of Thunderhill" Presented by HAWK Performance Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows CA Event limited to 100 cars
- 5-mile track w/Bypass; cumulative race w/parc fermé; counter-clockwise both days WITH The Bypass
- Format: 14 Hours Cumulative Race over two days. THE TWIST…The first car to hit 1000 miles, regardless of class, (lap 212 or 4:00pm, which ever happens first) on Sunday afternoon determines the official end of the race and resulting podium winners. For perspective, in 2022 teams finished 1000 miles 10 minutes prior to the end of the race & in 2023 teams came close at 977 miles and 959 miles in 2024!
- First A/B/C Class team to hit the 1000 mile mark on Sunday afternoon, the field freezes in place to determine podium class winners & Top Dawgs.
- Like we do at other tracks with a mid-event break, we will do Parc fermé, which is explained in greater detail in the Event Schedule.
- OPEN TO ANY/ALL TEAMS; but those teams who have participated in at least two 2026 Lucky Dog event weekends AND secured one (1) Top 5 Podium during the season are in contention for add'l Top Dawg Champion status (same car + two original drivers also required)
- Car Entry (includes Captain): EARLY DOG DISCOUNT $550 USD plus $550 per add'l driver.
- The event requires a minimum of four (4) driver entries (or a total entry fee of $2,200, with a minimum of two (2) drivers). Drivers 5th, 6th, 7th, etc. goes FREE!
- Early dog discount ends October 14, 2026; then regular fee $600 per driver.
- A track-hosted practice day will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, running full 5-mile course.
