Saturday 7.5 hours includes qualifying/practice session; Sunday 7.5 hours (max 90 dB event). And it's a 3-day holiday MLK weekend; school's out on Monday...bring the family! For our October 2017 Laguna event, we were able to clear 29 of the 31 teams on the waitlist...so it's worth getting on the lucky list! Confirmed teams' DRIVERS are encouraged to continue to enter and pay for their entry.

Back by popular demand...Lucky Dog Racing League hosts a true 24-Hour enduro at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, located in the lovely metropolis of Buttonwillow, CA. This 498 acre facility boasts a 3.1 mile road course...and yes, we will use the Bus Stop! In addition to the 24 hour enduro, we'll also host a "race within a race;" a 12 hour enduro on Saturday for those dawgs who need their beauty sleep. Offering interesting elevation changes and 9 turns, come out and conquer the "Castrol corner" (90 degree high speed left-hander) & "The Rabbits Ear" (a double apex sweeper)! Lucky Dog makes its debut at the legendary Pacific Raceways 2.25-mile road course with more than 125 feet of elevation change. Built in 1959 and first opened in 1960, this historic 10-turn road course was a mainstay on the USAC and Trans Am schedule in the 1960s and '70s with the likes of Mario Andretti and Al Unser. It's quite likely there will be a Friday track/practice day; stay tuned for updates. Tech Inspection & Registration will be held on Friday afternoon June 1st. Hood as a backdrop, ORP offers a 2.34 mile/minimum 40-foot wide road course with 400-feet of elevation change and corners that alternate from high banking, off camber, increasing & decreasing radius. And the track can be ran clockwise or counter clockwise; so we will run clockwise on Saturday & counterclockwise on Sunday. Built in 2008, ORP has recently added a number of onsite amenities too! 9/5/2018 UPDATE: As of today, we have not heard back from the promoter on this event, though not entirely unusual for these Mexican races. However, we have chosen to opt-out of this year's event as our teams need more than a couple of weeks to prepare cars, get passports, etc. We will try again next year!
You haven’t raced until you’re on the city streets of Mexico! A team favorite over the years, we’re bringing back racing South of the Border in Ensenada; this will be our fifth time racing with Caldera Promotions in Mexico. Enjoy the picturesque backdrop of the Pacific Ocean; paddock at the beach! Fully escorted, fun, once-in-a-lifetime adventure! Teams meet & cross the border as a group on Friday via the express lane! IMPORTANT: Portland Halloween Dawgs will be entering the track via the Turn 8 Back Gate since the Main Front Gate is closed due to paving. Spectators and those teams leaving a car outside the track for parts runs, will enter Turn 8 Gate and be directed to the outer west road that will bring them around to the Pedestrian Bridge & Parking. *NEW* OPTIONAL LUCKY DOG NIGHT SPRINT RACE! For those that have been begging for some nighttime racing, now’s your chance! Racecar classes from Saturday’s enduro will remain in place for this sprint exhibition event. This race is optional; your team is not required to run this event but those teams that win 1st place for their class will receive $100 hard cold cash! Super Dawgs are invited to participate but there is no cash prize.
RULES: MUST BE ONE (1) three-minute DRIVER CHANGE DURING SPRINT RACE, any time, your choosing. If you only have one driver, 3-minute pit stop still applies.
Teams that wish to only enter the Exhibition Sprint Race (and NOT the weekend enduros) will 1) be required to pay a $100 entry fee; register online rent transponder, and pay overnight camping as required, 2) must Tech & Reg on Friday October 26th between 4:00pm-7:00pm, 3) enter the track prior to Saturday prior to the 9:00am start (or between 9:45am-9:55am), or at 6:00pm sharp for a 6:15pm green flag start.
While it’s not a full moon, there will be 91.2% moon illumination for this event!
